3 Ways to Be in Your Courage
Courage has been the conduit to creating freedom of money and time in my life.
How about you? What has your courage created in your life?
My goal is to help you create additional 'Moments of Courageous Action,' which I define as doing the important thing you've been avoiding or overthinking.
Here are a few examples from my own life:
When I was in the 8th grade, four kids who were bigger than me were bullying another kid who was part of the minority. I walked up to them and told them to leave him alone. They did, and I didn't get beat up!
I left the "safety" of Corporate during the pandemic to make a bigger impact as a coach full-time. I'd been considering this for over a year.
I found a church that I liked, met with the Pastor, told him I was gay, and wanted to serve in leadership. He informed me that I could serve in a lesser leadership capacity.
I started a podcast I'd been overthinking for at least 6 months. We're on season 3!
I've created 3 simple ways to help you to be in your courage more often.
🌿 1. Get Rooted:
Connect deeply with yourself. Whether it's through meditation, yoga, or simply taking a moment to place a hand over your heart, find your grounding. Getting rooted helps you to act from a place of strength.
⚡ 2. Get Energized:
Build an "Encouragement Ecosystem." Surround yourself with reminders of your impact—be it a ‘Love’ folder full of appreciative emails that lift you, people who will support you on demand, and even videos and music that can shift your energy and help you stay inspired.
🔍 3. Go Small:
Ask yourself, "What is the tiniest step I can take right now?"
Then do it!
My hope is that this helps you be more courageous so that you can create the freedom and impact that makes you smile.
Be More You.
