I never thought I’d inspire 10,000 people

Do the impossible.

I woke up and started washing my face. While washing my face, I received a notification on my phone. The message alerted me that my online learning courses had reached the 10,000 student mark.

I had a huge grin on my face. You see, I had a goal the year prior of positively impacting the lives of 10,000 people through my online learning courses.

The app also highlighted one of the reviews. Here's what it said:

"Thank you so much, Shermain. Because of this course, I have not only crafted my vision of changing the world, but I've learned that being love is my how. Exuding, seeping, and percolating love made the difference.

You see, I would always have ideas, but I would get stuck thinking about how - the execution. I would overthink it, eventually, talk myself out of it, and then beat myself up for not getting it done. Not anymore. I have leveled up.

Thank you for reminding me that: I am important, I do matter, I am enough, I am love, I am loved, and I can be authentically, unapologetically me."

A year ago, I never thought I could or would accomplish this feat. A year ago, it was only an idea. I had the equipment I needed and exciting and important topics that I thought needed to be taught, but I was hesitant.

I didn't know how I would do it. I was scared, I wondered if my goal was too big, I wondered how I'd be perceived if I didn't reach the goal, and I began to overthink things. I woke up many nights wondering if I'd done enough and showed up powerfully.

I knew that if I focused on being of service and coming from a place of love, I would not only reach but exceed my goal.

I believed that God is love, I am His child, therefore, He is in me. What I'm really saying is: Because God created me, He has equipped me with an abundance of love, and I couldn't lose!

I did it - 10,000 learners positively impacted and positively impacting the world.

It hasn't happened yet. Today, December 17th, 2021, is day 1, while what you've just read is my vision for a year from today (December 17th, 2022).

Visioning is one of the most powerful exercises you can do to create the impossible in your life.
