I felt paralyzed
In case you weren't there, we just completed our first session in our four-session Leadership Series.
What I don't want to tell you is that it took me three weeks to build up the courage to schedule it because I was worried about all of the "what if's."
What if nobody shows up, what if I have technical problems, what if I mess up, what if someone decides to use the restroom on camera?
I had the time and all the resources. I was getting in my own way and allowing fear to paralyze me.
Have you ever been there? You focus on the what if's and end up either slowing yourself down or not moving forward at all?
You are not alone.
Let me tell you; I was amazed at what the remarkable leaders on the call created together.
During the hour, we connected, and discussed the following concepts to help lead yourself and others in the midst of chaos and uncertainty:
Breathe. When you're feeling anxiety and stress, stop and take 3 deep breaths.
Be courageous. Summoning up the courage to take small steps are required during times of uncertainty.
Focus on the positive instead of the negative. Have faith despite the fear - keep going!
If you weren't there, you missed out on a great time. Fear not - We are doing three more of these, and you're invited.

Don't let your fear get in the way.
How do you want to be courageous? What small steps will you take this week and this month?
Step forward. Small steps count. You've got this!
God bless you.
